The Morrisons Foundation Grants

Funding available: up to £10,000

Applications close: 31/12/2026

About this fund

The Morrisons Foundation supports registered charities making a positive difference in local communities across England, Scotland, and Wales.

Their award grants for charity projects and match fund the money that Morrisons colleagues raise for their chosen charities.

The grant funding programme supports registered charities delivering projects which help to improve people’s lives in communities across England, Scotland and Wales.   Morrisons have set funding objectives, which are:
1. Tackling poverty and social deprivation
2. Enhancing community spaces, facilities and services
3. Improving health and wellbeing.

Charities applying should ensure their project meets at meets at least one of the funding objectives.  Applications are accepted on a continual basis, there is no deadline to submit a request.  CICs and organisations that are not registered on the Charity Commission / OSCR are not eligible for support.   For full eligibility criteria check out our Grant Funding Policy page.

The principle funding sources are the sale of plastic carrier bags and a proportion of income from clothing banks, Morrison’s Charity Scratch cards and car park fines.
