The post is a joint commitment between Aberdeen's Local Employability Partnership and ACVO Third Sector Interface and is intended to support strengthening employment outcomes for the people of Aberdeen through improving the capacity, scope and contribution of third sector employability provision. By working collaboratively with the Local Employability Partnership and Aberdeen’s Employability Training Providers Forum, the postholder will engage actively with local and national third sector providers to understand their strengths and challenges, identify opportunities for and support partnership working across sectors.

Clan Cancer Support is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Trusts & Grants Writer to join our Income Generation team and help us raise the vital funds needed to support local people impacted by cancer. Working closely with the Head of Income Generation, you’ll play a key role in securing income from charitable trusts and foundations. You’ll manage the full grant lifecycle – from researching new funding opportunities and writing compelling applications, through to reporting on outcomes and developing strong, lasting relationships with funders.

At Clan Cancer Support, we’re looking for an experienced and passionate Children & Families Service Team Leader to lead and develop our Children & Families Service (CFS) across Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, Moray and the Northern Isles. This is a rewarding role that combines team leadership, service development and hands-on therapeutic support. You’ll lead a team of five CFS Practitioners, while also maintaining your own client work and helping shape how we respond to the changing needs of children, young people and families affected by cancer.
