Touch of Love Outreach enjoy a thrilling family adventure at Landmark Forest Adventure Park

Local charity Touch of Love Outreach recently organised an unforgettable day out at Landmark Forest Adventure Park. The event was made possible thanks to the generous support of Generation Cashback and Aberdeen City Council Youth Grant.

For many of these children and families, who often face financial constraints limiting their adventures beyond their immediate environment, this day trip was a special opportunity. As new Scots, discovering more of Scotland is a vital part of integration, and this adventure provided an invaluable chance to do just that.

The day was packed with adrenaline-pumping adventures that left the children exhilarated. They conquered the towering Rock-Climbing Wall, testing their limits and building confidence. The refreshing Water Slides provided endless laughter and a much-needed cool-down. Young racers revved up their engines on the Go-Kart track, honing their driving skills and experiencing the thrill of speed.

For those seeking a higher challenge, the High Ropes Course offered a thrilling test of balance and courage, while the exhilarating Astroglide slide sent them soaring through the air. The enchanting Wonder Wood provided a magical escape, where children explored nature’s wonders and sparked their imaginations. And for boundless energy, the Net Play Area was a haven for bouncing, climbing, and having fun.

Additionally, the Dinosaur Trail Exploration captivated young minds as they journeyed through time, discovering prehistoric creatures and igniting their curiosity. At the Dino Dig site, children became little archaeologists, uncovering dinosaur bones in the sand, an activity that combined fun with educational learning about fossil.

The day concluded with a joyous celebration as parents and children danced together, creating a memorable and relaxing atmosphere. The infectious energy and laughter filled the air, reflecting the overall success of the event.

Touch of Love is committed to creating enriching experiences that promote the holistic development of children. This adventure was not just about fun; it was an opportunity for the young achievers to learn about teamwork, build confidence, and develop resilience.

The success of this trip was evident in the bright smiles and joyous laughter of all participants. Touch of Love extend their gratitude to the volunteers, staff, Generation Cashback, and Aberdeen City Council Youth Grant for their invaluable support in making this day a resounding success and they look forward to organising more such events in the future.
