ACVO News April 2023 – Out Now!

Every month, ACVO News highlights opportunities and news from the Third Sector in our city.

In the April 2023 edition we bring you the latest updates from team ACVO! Our brand new Financial Healthcheck service, aimed at third sector organisations who need assistance or advice with their finances, has now launched. We also share details of our upcoming Community Spaces directory, now accepting submissions from local community organisations that have rooms for hire.

This month we also welcome Dave Black, General Manager at Grampian Regional Equality Council (GREC), who writes about the charity’s In-Trans service. Dave explains the translation service, talks about putting a focus on mental health and discusses their peer support model project. Read the article on pages 24-25!

In this edition we also highlight our recent ACVO Opportunities, including vacancies from local third sector organisations, upcoming events happening in Aberdeen, funding opportunities and an array of volunteering roles.

Read these stories and much more to find out what’s been happening in your city and discover some positive news from right on your doorstep with your April edition of ACVO News.
