Grampian Yoga Association (GYA) is a charitable organisation regulated by OSCR (The Scottish Charity Regulator), reference SC 016624.
Grampian Yoga Association’s aim is to promote yoga within the Grampian area. Evening classes are held during the school summer holidays and seminars are offered regularly.
GYA offers sponsorship to students attending Foundation and Teacher Training courses. Each year, we maintain a register of Grampian-based teachers and their classes. For further information, please contact a member of the committee.
The aim of the seminars is to bring from around the UK and abroad eminent Swamis and experienced tutors from varied yoga disciplines to our members doorstep. Seminars have been popular, well attended and booking in advance is recommended to avoid disappointment.
The summer classes, given by a rota of local teachers, continue to prove very popular, introducing new people to an eclectic mix of yoga styles, and providing an opportunity to regular yogis to continue attending a class at a time when many teachers are on holiday.
