About this fund

What it funds:

Projects that improve children’s access to free fruit and vegetables, supporting healthy, nutritious diets. This can include school fruit provision, breakfast or holiday clubs, cooking or gardening projects, food education activities, and healthy snacks for sports or youth groups.

Funding available:
Up to ÂŁ1,500 per project via the Tesco blue token customer vote. All shortlisted projects receive funding (ÂŁ500, ÂŁ1,000, or ÂŁ1,500 depending on votes).

Who can apply:
Schools, registered charities, and not‑for‑profit organisations supporting children and young people across
the UK.

Key requirements:
– Projects must benefit children and young people
– Applicants must be linked to a local Tesco store area
– Successful projects take part in an in‑store customer vote
– Applications are managed by Groundwork (and greenspace scotland in Scotland)

Deadline:
Rolling – funding rounds run every four months.
