Rosie’s Social Enterprises: Alex, Workshop Co-ordinator

ACVO News Feature

December 2023

Aberdeen based Rosie’s Social Enterprises, part of Turning Point Scotland, provides vocational training, support & work experience for people who are recovering from acquired brain injuries and mental health issues alongside a range of other conditions.

“Providing the chance for people to come together to craft and to find something they are interested in from the diverse opportunities we offer, really allows people to develop” says Alex.

“Applying our work to people who have a mental health diagnosis, seeing their confidence grow, their abilities grow and being there to accommodate their needs, makes us an ideal stepping stone between work or another volunteering opportunity. Having people be a part of something is really important.”
