About this venue

Four Pillars is a central location in the city and the community room offers a wonderful space for all your needs. Whether you’re training, running groups, having meetings, or teaching it’s adaptable for all needs.

The room is located in the basement and unfortunately, this means there is no wheelchair access.

Four Pillars is an LGBT+ Charity that supports the community through mental, emotional, physical and sexual health. Upstairs (above the community room) we have a drop-in/cafe where people are free to relax, be themselves and grow as a community without fear of judgment or prejudice. This also means that other people will be using the facility alongside your booking, although will not be in the community room, as this will be deemed a private session for you.

Additional rooms: Provisions can be made for a private meeting room, for up to 4 people, separate from the community room booking. This will need to be booked in advance as demand for the meeting room is high.

Facilities: The building has 3 Gender neutral toilets, located on the main floor. Cafe facilities so you are able to order additional drinks & snacks.

Catering: Yes - guests can arrange their own catering

Wifi: Yes

Equipment available: In the community room there is a TV for presentations, a flip chart/paper, tables, chairs, etc. and FREE wifi

Accessibility

Accessibility: Wheelchair access is available but only for the ground floor/main hub. Wheelchairs can not get to the community room.

Car parking: Car parking is available for up to 5 cars, charged per hour alongside your booking.

Public transport: Close links to train station, bus station and Union Street
