The project will deliver weekly sessions in the communities of Tillydrone and Rosemount, including decorating a pot, mindfulness, potting a plant, quizzes that will incorporate what plants do for human health, the health of plants and related topics. Each session will end in a free conversation over refreshments with each other, leader and volunteers. The sessions will allow participants to build on their own knowledge in relation to their mental health, and on their skills with caring for plants. All the while doing this through a social activity and building relationships. Part of the way through the planned sessions if the group and centre leaders feel that a visiting speaker expert in a particular related topic on selfcare and or plants would be of benefit.
