We are now tackling post Covid issues ranging from social isolation and mental health and a need for getting people back to face to face classes. We will continue to encourage participation in our groups by focusing on supporting individuals' needs. The Centre welcomes anyone who would like to gain new life skills, gain confidence and experiences from all walks of life and would like to welcome all new people/nationalities to Aberdeen. The funding is for 3 English tutors to provide 5 1-2hr classes per week. This will run term time to co-inside with the school year. Classes will include beginners, pre intermediate, intermediate, one to one, Life in the UK and Academic preparation. As well as these classes we want to do cooking and art/craft classes so students can learn to read and follow instructions as well as learning new skills. This will provide individuals with a steppingstone to increase their learning abilities to better their own skills for their future prospects.
