We are requesting to start weekly art sessions led by a qualified art therapist for residents as well as inviting residents from the local community to also join. On a monthly basis, staff will support residents to go into the community to visit places that will inspire creativity, such as the Aberdeen Art Gallery or places of interest with a camera. The project will encourage creativity, stimulate activity and create meaningful relationships between our residents and local people sharing a love of art. Once the project is completed, it will culminate in an art show at Simeon Care, showcasing the works of the residents and community while bringing people together.
