This application is to support a short term co-ordinator who will become a key link person between RCH/NHS and Third Level Foundation and patients/clients, creating continuity for all involved. The funding will enable us to strengthen our relationship with the NHS - Royal Cornhill Hospital (RCH) and Medical Centres and support them in providing a service for their patients who are on waiting lists. Our workshops will provide immediate support to patients/clients who are struggling and waiting for more in-depth work. This can cut down the risk of the patients/clients falling into a depression or becoming suicidal as they will have support and focus. If people are on their own, they may feel less isolated or lonely while encouraged to attend.
