Part funding of salary costs towards our support workers salary will help ensure that we can carry out Mental Health and Wellbeing Challenges as part of our ASDAN lifeskills challenges portfolio. This in turn would ensure that our apprentices have a fully rounded experience while at the Breadmaker through work and training experiences, education and social activities. During the first year of our ASDAN lifeskills challenge we completed 109 challenges between our 24 apprentices. We have superseded that figure this year already, thanks to the work of our support worker. Outputs seen were the sense of achievement and pride our apprentices had which was incredible and the change of behaviours displayed during the year showed how ASDAN helped to improve confidence and self esteem both in work, social and educational settings which resulted in positive changes in behaviours at home. We would like to continue this work which will be focused on mental health and wellbeing. To expand our services we would like to train 2 staff or volunteers to help and expand on this offering by completing Forrest Training's mental health and wellbeing suite of courses.
