Project description:

Inchgarth's application will create strands of social opportunities that ensures those target groups mentioned, gain access to quality activities that will benefit hundreds of people where money is the barrier to participation. Funding, if successful, will give us the resources to create new opportunities that tackles social isolation and mental health head on. We expect to re-connect with those who have yet to return to the centre, but in equal measures attract many new service users to our programme. We are requesting funding to deliver the following strands of our project. PART 1-To create a second day of "The Phoenix club" for adults with learning and physical disabilities. PART 2-To provide entertainment in five sheltered housing complexes in Garthdee, and 2 in Kincorth. PART 3-To create a weekly art class for people experiencing mental health problems, or other pressures. PART 4-Weekly fitness class for people experiencing mental health problems, refugees, people with no recourse to public funds, people with health problems, low income, and those from minority ethnic backgrounds.
