Project description:

The aim of the project is to continue to offer the Own My Life (OML) program and other group work to women experiencing domestic abuse in Aberdeen. We will run 6 programmes with 2 being face-to-face. Additionally, we will run drop in cafes for women in our office in Aberdeen and other groups that women identify as being useful to them. This will be part of our Connecting Women service. We are passionate about women supporting women and have a range of activities available to women who are accessing or have accessed our services. Women will be offered childcare costs, transport costs and we will provide lunch/refreshment for those attending the face-to-face programme. We have also requested funding for contribution to office costs for face-to-face. The Group Worker post is already being funded by the Delivering Equally Safe Fund.
