Project description:

We would like to run a sustainable growing activity, that would benefit our community. There are many research papers that detail the impact gardens and gardening has on mental health. Evidence on the impact of gardening on health is closely related to the wide array of evidence on 'green space and health'. Increasing people's exposure to and use of green space has been linked to long-term reductions in overall health. The sheer joy of growing plants, herbs and flowers to brighter our community lifts moods. The appreciation from our neighbourhood will boost individuals who are feeling low.
