This project will offer talks/information session to all sheltered housing residents, older person community groups and dementia cafes. These sessions will cover topics such as Benefit Entitlement, Safety & Security within the home, Smart Meters, Minor Aids/Adaptations and Equipment to support independent living, including dementia friendly equipment. At these sessions we will promote the 'free' early intervention assessments and encourage attendees to take up a face-to-face visit in their own home to provided one to one support. The project will provide one to one additional support for people living with mental health and or a cognitive impairment including dementia when required to access support and services appropriate to their needs.
