The Funding will enable us to deliver phase two of COMPASS which is focussed on promoting more opportunities for the community to volunteer on site together and social prescribing activities which are targeted at those that are suffering from mental ill health or at risk of social isolation/loneliness. This includes appointing a Social Prescribing & Volunteer Officer whose role will include building partnerships and signposting opportunities; Creation on a dedicated Volunteer Hub and expansion of volunteering and social prescribing opportunities including investment in a therapeutic kitchen, drystone walling sessions and building crafts and joinery renovation sessions.
