We will promote the creation of the mural through the construction of a website and social media and in the press. Before the Mural work takes place, we will hold a small “meet and greet” event at Mastrick community centre. At this the Artists/group members will meet the veterans and engage in a meaningful way over refreshments. On the Final day the work takes place (weather permitting) we will invite a group of Disabled veterans to an event in the small carpark next to and with views of the wall. A kind of “wrap” party. After the event the artists involved will do a screen print course at Peacock Visual Arts and produce a limited-edition print to be sold - all proceeds going to help disabled veterans.
