This new 3 hour online training session is designed to help individuals and organisations involved in intergenerational work, to measure and evidence the impact of this approach, upon participants, support staff and the wider community. The session explores the steps for effective evaluation, provides an overview of outcomes and indicators and then offers a range of simple tools for practitioners to take away and use.
This session will help practitioners to:
- Understand the importance of evaluation and how it can be applied in an intergenerational work context
- Identify the potential outcomes and indicators for intergenerational projects or programmes
- Choose effective evaluation methods and how to involve others in the evaluation process
To improve the development and sustainability of intergenerational programmes, we strongly recommend that two leads from each partnering organisation undertakes evaluation training.
