This grant will support vulnerable families through building resilience, toolkits and networks of the professionals supporting them. We recognise that the current pandemic has increased strains on families, such as: •social crisis (loneliness, isolation, relationship breakdown, anxiety, depression, loss of connectiveness, digital scarcity • economic crisis (worklessness, life necessity scarcity including food, homelessness, inflation, loss of income. The programme intention is to strengthen our localised family support offer through development of a supportive ‘joined up’ services where our teams are well-connected, nurtured, skilled building a resilient workforce. This investment will ensure that we are better placed to support the needs of families in the specific communities they support. We recognise the value of the lived experience lens and will capture that experience to inform our design strategy harnessing within local communities the strength this adds to creation of effective interventions. This programme will support 12 Practitioners to engage, connect and nurture 72 vulnerable parents/guardians where societal challenges present including: mental illness, low mood, low confidence, lack of connection and struggling to maintain service.
