Our organisation would like to use its grant to improve the mental, emotional, physical and sexual health of LGBT+ individuals by educating communities and supporting LGBT+ individuals and their allies. We aim to recruit 1 LGBT+ Outreach in Aberdeen City who will work with volunteers to ensure we reach as many people as possible without compromising on time and resources. Their mission will be to improve and maintain the mental, emotional, physical and sexual health of LGBT+ individuals across the region. Engage with local groups, support activities and develop local events. Deliver LGBT+ Awareness Training in community centres as requested. Promote a zero-tolerance attitude to homophobia, biphobia & transphobia and other discriminations, working with service users in reporting crimes to Police Scotland.
