This is a pivotal leadership role, ensuring that our care teams work collaboratively with education and therapy teams to provide an integrated, holistic approach to supporting children and young people.

The successful candidate will offer advice, information and support to enable people to make informed decisions to reduce the harms associated with alcohol and drug use through the provision of services such as Needle Exchange, Helpline, Duty drop, outreach -amongst others. You will provide targeted harm reduction interventions such as Naloxone, Dried Blood Spot Testing, and other relevant actions to help reduce harms.

Advocacy Service Aberdeen (ASA) is a third sector agency providing an independent advocacy service for people who use health and social care services in Aberdeen City. The successful candidate will provide an independent advocacy service to people to support them in matters related to Self-Directed Support (SDS) and their social care budgets. This will involve helping people identify and develop personal outcome plans; prepare for, express their views and participate in assessments and reviews; challenge decisions; access services and identify solutions to meet their social care needs.
