With Nikki and Dave from Denis Law Legacy Trust

Mike welcomes Nikki and Dave from Denis Law Legacy Trust to hear more about how the organisation supports and empowers young people in the North East to be confident, capable, independent and responsible citizens within their own communities.

Denis Law Legacy Trust is a registered charity that operates and delivers a number of free to access programmes and positive destination activities for young people in Aberdeen.

Primarily through Streetsport, theirflagship programme which is ran in partnership with Robert Gordon University, they aim to reduce instances of youth crime and anti-social behaviour; improve health and wellbeing; and encourage inclusivity through sport, physical activity and creative endeavour.

Their activities currently engage over 18,500 annual participations across a range of age groups and include a variety of opportunities and programmes which contribute to healthier and safer local communities.
