As we head into autumn, it feels like the perfect moment to pause and reflect on the volunteering landscape here in Aberdeen. There have been tremendous successes to celebrate, superb milestones to mark, and some challenges that remind us of the values at the core of volunteering.
Volunteers Made Tall Ships Aberdeen Shine – Let’s Keep That Spark Alive
In late July I had the privilege of joining more than 350 fellow volunteers to support one of the most spectacular events our city has seen in years – the return of the Tall Ships Races to Aberdeen.
A huge thank you this Volunteers’ Week to all who give their time in Aberdeen
National Volunteers’ Week takes place between the 2nd-8th June with lots of activities and events to mark this important occasion and say a big thank you to the millions of tremendous volunteers throughout the country who do so much good for people and our communities.
