As the ACVO Team wind down for the upcoming festive break, we would like to share our Connecting Communities in Aberdeen booklet which features all our highlights from 2024!

In the booklet, you can find reflective accounts from Paul O’Connor, our ACVO Chair, and Maggie Hepburn, our Chief Executive. Furthermore, you can see a snapshot of statistics from 2024 – including 6.2 million volunteer hours logged, 500+ attendees to our ACVO events and 190+ projects supported by funds managed and distributed by the ACVO team.

The booklet also includes reflections from ACVO colleagues Mike MelvinSandy MathersJane Russell and Alasdair Ross, as well as a round-up of how we engaged digitally with Aberdeen’s third sector including our ACVO News, digital storytelling projects and the launch of the new Volunteer Aberdeen website.

Georgette Cobban speaks on her work with The PromiseAmy Duncan details information about the Cash First project and Claire Shaw shares third sector funding insights in Aberdeen.

Finally, we highlight our six Strategic Aims which outline our commitment to championing the third sector’s voice, building organisational resilience and promoting sustainable practices across Aberdeen.
