About this fund

Toy Trust makes grants to UK registered charities for projects working with disadvantaged children aged 13 and under.

Toy Trust funds help disadvantaged children and their families to:

– Alleviate suffering, support children through awful experiences
– Encourage achievement through adversity
– Purchase vital equipment
– Provide care
– Bolster existing initiatives
– Initiate brand new projects

Who can apply
To be eligible, your charity must: have been operating for at least 12 months; demonstrate effective fundraising; have overheads & admin costs of less than 30%; and be requesting funding for equipment and services, rather than salaries, wages and research.

When to apply
Trustees meet 4 times a year and applications can be submitted at any time. Application cut-off times are:

March meeting – mid February
July meeting – mid June
September meeting – mid August
December meeting – mid November
