About this fund

Supports community‑led, not‑for‑profit groups across the UK to transform urban spaces using UK native plants or fungi. Projects must benefit both people and wildlife, enhance local biodiversity, and help communities connect with nature. Priority is given to groups engaging young people (12–25), people facing disadvantage or reduced access to services, and those who face barriers to connecting with nature.

Eligible Expenditure:
– Seeds, plants, soil, tools, and sustainable materials for urban planting
– Wildlife‑friendly habitat creation
– Community engagement activities, events, and workshops
– Specialist support, contractors, or expert-led sessions
– Staff costs directly linked to delivering the project

Funding Amount: Up to £2,000 per project; Deadline: 4 February 2026 at 3pm
