About this fund

What it funds:
Community sport projects that increase access to football, cricket or tennis, with a strong focus on improving participation for women and girls and other under‑represented groups, including disabled people and those from racially diverse or LGBTQ+ communities.

Funding available:
£1,000 per organisation (Access Grant). Additional support is available for female coaching qualifications.

Who can apply:
Not‑for‑profit community groups and grassroots sports organisations working in areas of high
deprivation, or supporting women and girls facing barriers such as disability or rural isolation.

Key requirements:
– Projects must involve football, cricket or tennis. Only one £1,000 grant per organisation
– Activity should support women and girls to participate or stay involved in sport

Deadline:
27 May 2026, 5pm (may close early if oversubscribed).
