This is about Your Place, Your Plans, Your Future – an upcoming community engagement survey. This is a chance for everyone to share their views and shape Aberdeen’s plans for improvement. This includes the Local Housing Strategy, Health and Social Partnership Strategic Plan, Community Learning and Development Plan, Local Development Plan, and the next Local Outcome Improvement Plan and Locality Plans.

ACVO sees this as an important opportunity to gather views, including from those that are seldom heard and/or who may be experiencing any form of inequality or disadvantage. We want to support as many people as possible to participate and tell us what things are good now and what improvements would make our city and our neighbourhoods better in the future. So we are hosting this Third Sector engagement session. Using the Place Standard Tool we will ask you, on behalf of the people you support, to score and give comments on the specific themes. It will be a fast paced, interactive and interesting session. If you need us – we’ll be around to help and advise .

Following the engagement, work will continue with communities to co-create solutions that will be identified, ensuring that local people are at the heart of community planning.
