The GEF Safari Series of races, licensed by Scottish Athletics, gives runners the chance to compete over 3 different distances whilst also receiving a unique Kenyan safari animal medal at each event.

RACE ONE: Duthie Park 5k and kids 1k sponsored by neospace – Sunday 18th May.

– Kids 1k, for those aged under 11 on day of race, starts at 10.30am.

– Adults 5k, for those aged 11 and over on day of race, starts at 11am.

– However, if we receive a high volume of entries to the 5k, we will split entrants into more than one race. Startlists will be based on predicted times, with the fastest race taking place last.

– Wheelchair racers and frame runners are welcome, and will be set off 2 minutes before the runners start time in each race.

– Full event info, along with start times of additional races if required, will be emailed to entrants by Friday 2nd May.

– Entries close 24th April 2025

We are looking for local businesses who would be interested in having a presence at our Duthie Park 5k and kids 1k event, on the 18th May 2025. As it is a running event we are primarily looking for stalls with a wellness and sporting theme, alongside food and drinks. The event will take place from 9.00am to roughly 1.30pm. Stallholders are asked to bring their own gazebo, table and chairs.

RACE TWO: Prime Four 3k and kids 1k sponsored by Prime Four Business Park – Sunday 29th June.
RACE THREE: Mel’s Union Street Mile sponsored by Salus Technical – date to be announced. There will be three 1 mile races on the day: Primary 3-7, Secondary 1-6 and Adults.
