Anxiety and Resilience (Online Conflict Resolution Series)

Anxiety and Resilience (Online Conflict Resolution Series)

This online session, ‘Anxiety and Resilience – Understanding Emotions and Coping (Online Conflict Resolution Series)’, is designed for parents, carers, and professionals, practitioners, and volunteers working with young people and families. As part of our adapted and shorter conflict resolution series, the session explores the experience of anxiety and fear, helping you understand the difference between anxiety and stress and the science that underpins these emotional states. Using SCCR’s digital resources, it also looks at what resilience really means, emphasising that it is not a fixed trait but something we build over time through experience, and shares practical tips and coping strategies to help strengthen it. By attending, you’ll be able to better relate to feelings of anxiety, explore the science behind them, and reflect on how resilience develops and can be supported. Delivered live on Zoom by an experienced SCCR trainer, you’ll receive all the information and joining instructions via email shortly before the session once you’ve signed up.
