Public Transport Details
The Torry Lighthouse is conveniently located at 6 Oscar Road, Torry, and is well-served by several local bus routes.
The closest bus stops are virtually on the doorstep of the centre, located at the junction of Oscar Road and Grampian Place.
- At Grampian Place (on Oscar Road): This stop is directly adjacent to the centre.
- At Oscar Road (on Grampian Place): This stop is just around the corner from the main entrance.
- Walker Road Stops: Several other services stop on Walker Road, which is approximately a 2-minute walk from the centre.
Two main routes provide frequent service from Aberdeen City Centre (Union Square and Market Street) directly to the Torry Lighthouse Centre:
- First Bus Route 12 (Torry – Heathryfold): This is the most direct service, with the bus stopping on Oscar Road itself. It runs frequently throughout the day and evening.
- Stagecoach Route 59 (Northfield – Balnagask): This service stops on Grampian Place, right at the corner of Oscar Road. It provides a reliable link across the city and through the city centre.
- Other Routes: Routes 3, 3A, 15, and 22A also serve the nearby Walker Road area, providing additional options from various parts of Aberdeen.
