Families Outside’s Training is aimed at any professional whose role means they come into contact with families, and who feel that they would benefit from being able to better support families affected by imprisonment in their own role.
Please note, the training modules incorporate a mix of learning styles, and offer opportunities to interact with other participants from different professional backgrounds and sectors. Interaction is required, in smaller breakout room discussions and whole group discussions.
This module will cover:
- The wide ranging issues that can affect families with a family member in prison
- Examples of how a family might be affected at each stage of the criminal justice process
- Learn how to apply this knowledge when supporting families affected by imprisonment
Please note this training session will be delivered online via Microsoft Teams.
