This grant will enable us to provide an extensive range of wellbeing activities for people already participating in Foyer programmes, those currently awaiting services due to heightened demand and newcomers to the Foyer community. Activities will be delivered as one off events or in 6/12 week blocks so as not to feel too overwhelming and taster sessions will be delivered for those anxious about trying new things. Local tutors will be engaged to provide the following enriching sessions, with required equipment and materials provided. Moreover, our Marywell Centre features a welcoming kitchen and café area where participants can pause and enjoy refreshments provided by Foyer volunteers. This space will foster conversations around shared interests, nurturing peer support and resilience. Additionally, it will serve as an opportunity for individuals to learn more about Foyer programmes and services, contributing to long-term health and well-being improvement. Through these activities we aim to create a vibrant, supportive community that not only enhances well-being but also empowers individuals to explore their talents.
