The Society runs an annual programme of events from October to June.  The programme starts with a Greek Evening, with food, refreshments and music, for members, guests and those who may wish to join the Society. Subsequent meetings, in the form of illustrated talks, normally take place on a monthly basis at the University Campus in Old Aberdeen. The January event also includes the cutting of the Vasilopita (the traditional New Year cake). There is a regular Greek Easter party, with spit-roasted lamb and other traditional food, drink, music and dancing. There are other musical events with musicians brought over from Greece around that time.

Jointly with the Aberdeen University Greek and Cypriot Society, a fortnightly Film Club shows Greek films with English sub-titles. A further joint venture is the range of language classes in Modern Greek, from beginners to advanced, supported by native Greek speakers.
