Reading time: < 1 minute

Gathimba Edwards Foundation (GEF) are excited to announce the return of its bi-annual Hope & Fizz Ladies Lunch event, an afternoon of inspiration, entertainment and fundraising.

Taking place on 12th September 2025 at The Chester Hotel, Aberdeen, this yearโ€™s glamorous gathering aims to build on the incredible success of its debut event, which raised over ยฃ10,000 in 2022. With a focus on female empowerment, the event aims to raise funds to support young females and their families in both the north-east of Scotland and Kenya.

This yearโ€™s event will feature a welcome drink and a two-course lunch, with entertainment provided by Rhianne Armstrong and 360 Photobooth Aberdeen. The afternoon will also include games, raffles, and an auction.

Barry Duncan, Managing Director at CNR International, this yearโ€™s Gold Sponsor shared, “Weโ€™re incredibly proud to support an event that delivers real impact, both locally and internationally. It’s a brilliant opportunity for businesses to give back while being part of something so transformative.”

Proceeds from the Ladies Lunch will contribute to initiatives supporting girls of all ages, from nursery level to young adults, and their families by providing educational resources, mentorship programs, and essential living support. These efforts aim to create opportunities, enhance access to education, and improve overall well-being for those in need.
