North East Rider Volunteers (NERVS): JTPB Fund Year 4

NERVS Blood Bikes received £38,785 through the Just Transition Participatory Budgeting Fund to purchase a new electric vehicle, helping support NHS Grampian with vital medical deliveries across the region.

The vehicle is being used to transport medication directly to patients, helping people leave hospital sooner while reducing emissions and operating costs. Delivered by a team of dedicated volunteers, the project is demonstrating how greener transport can support both local healthcare services and a just transition to a low-carbon future.
