Aberdeen Science Centre offers one of the most unique, inspiring and versatile venue options in Aberdeen. Available for exclusive venue hire, room hire, corporate, social and private events.

Every event held at the centre enables our STEM charity to continue working with schools and community groups across the North of Scotland, inspiring a lifelong interest in STEM through engaging experiences.

Aberdeen Science Centre boasts a modern, fully accessible space with three purpose built meeting rooms and a split level upper exhibition floor which can be redefined as a conference, exhibition or drinks reception space. Our event spaces are equipped with a range of high-spec AV and unlimited Wi-Fi.

Our exhibition floor offers a creative and entertaining space where guests can engage with over 60 interactive exhibits including talking with our chatty humanoid robot, visiting the one-of-a-kind immersive OPITO Theatre of Energy, building circuits and creating their own movies.

Located just a five-minute drive from the city centre, close to Aberdeen Beach, with free onsite parking we are an easy option for your guests.

Standard room hire rate is £635 per day. However we also offer half day rates and Day Delegate Rate packages. We may offer hourly rates in future.

Our Proton/Neutron Room is our main meeting room which can be used concurrently to the science centre being open to the public. This space can accommodate up to 80 delegates in a theatre style set up, or can be split into two separate rooms using a partition wall to create a room for around 30, and a room for around 40. Other room set ups are of course possible! Proton/Neutron is around 116sqm as a whole, whilst Proton is 66sqm and Neutron is 50sqm.
