Project description:

We are introducing a variety of therapies that will support our community through their recovery journey, giving them tools that they can use for all manner of issues that they will encounter throughout their life. The therapies will be varied, giving choice and a chance to try something new. This will be an advantage to those who cannot afford to go to these types of sessions through their own means and ensures that they will not lose out on the benefits that comes from from looking after their wellbeing. These will include individual and group sessions depending on the needs and wants of the individual and the service provider. An AiR volunteer is to train to become a fully qualified Laughter Yoga practitioner. She has participated in Laughter Yoga as part of her own recovery and is keen to give some of the benefits back to our community whilst becoming a fully qualified practitioner. This will mean that we will be able to offer sessions as part of our timetable.
