Walk to Give Her a Voice is a community health and wellbeing walk in Aberdeen City, aimed at raising awareness, reducing isolation, and supporting the mental health of women affected by uterine fibroids, particularly in Black and minority ethnic communities. By fostering peer support, breaking stigma, and promoting early intervention, the walk provides a safe space for women to share experiences, access resources, and feel empowered. Addressing the physical and emotional toll of fibroids, including chronic pain, anxiety, and depression, this initiative strengthens community connections, combats loneliness, and enhances overall wellbeing through solidarity and advocacy.
