We are a group of local residents who want to revive the strong community ethos that existed in Torry. We would like to build on the proven success of the Go Green Cafe run at the Old Torry Community Centre for three years from 2017 -2020, only ending with lockdown. We wish to create a space that facilitates coming together of people over a nourishing meal that reconnects them to the lost sense of abundance. We wish to offer hospitality that nurtures a sense of care and trust. We wish to create a forum where people can discuss their problems and find solutions to them. We want the people of Torry empowered so they can share opportunities, wealth and power more equally.
