Next Steps will be building on work carried out by our Development Worker in 2024 eg. re energising groups, attracting new and younger members, coping with wide range of abilities of members etc. We will hold our annual Spring Fling & Ramblers' Rendezvous, offering a range of indoor & outdoor activities as well as meeting other members from across the North East. Attendance is usually around 200 at each. Spring & Autumn Walks offer the chance to learn new walks; training offered include first aid courses & refreshers plus leadership courses. The benefits are numerous -keeping active, meeting people, and the "feel good" factor.
