Our project will support and empower 14 individuals living with bipolar and their loved ones to live well with the condition through self management training. In-person 2-day Self-Management Training, facilitated by staff and volunteers, will equip and empower 14 individuals to take back control of their lives, recognise symptoms and promote ongoing wellbeing. Topics covered will include acceptance; identifying triggers and warning signs; the impact of sleep, diet and exercise; and preparing for the future. Through our Self Management project we will bring together people across the bipolar community of Aberdeen to connect and support each other to build strong mental health, resilience and community connections.
