Instant Neighbour

Food Bank Assistant

About the project

The project aims to enhance the operations of Instant Neighbour’s food bank by increasing the hours of our part-time Food Bank Assistant from 7 to 21 hours per week. The assistant currently plays a pivotal role in managing the food bank during their limited hours, which frees up the Community Connector to provide personalised, meaningful support to clients. By expanding the assistant's hours, we aim to create a more structured, efficient food bank service and, crucially, allow the Community Connector to spend more focused time addressing clients' broader needs. This change will enhance the quality of our services and better address the complex challenges faced by those in crisis.
