Grampian Health & Diversity Network aims to empower community members from ethnic minorities to become health champions (volunteers) for their communities by: 1) Increasing awareness on information around mental health/wellbeing, how to keep active, screening programmes/prevention, and other health messages; 2) Increasing participation in designing and improving health services; 3) Capacity building so health champions and community groups can explore and develop future initiatives and activities. This project will address barriers to access healthcare and participation, and better connect people from ethnic minority communities, all key to address pervasive health inequalities.
