Key priority area: Social isolation and loneliness
Funding awarded: £9984
We want to recruit a part-time fixed term role to support our mums within our community. The Community Connector will have the role of not only signposting but to support emotional, social and practical needs in a non-medical and non-clinical way. A friendly listening ear, that they have missed over the last 20 months. This role will build up a local community network that can support this community of interest. We are already in collaboration with Pathways to fully support this mental health and wellbeing post which will help the delivery of this project. Pathways will work along side our Community Connector and the Local Network to deliver a suite of community led courses.
