Cornhill Community Association in partnership with Cairncry Community Centre Association would like to apply for funding to start the joint post of Community Engagement Officer for 16hrs/week at £12/hour. The 16hrs/week will be split equally between the two organisations. The Community Engagement Officer’s role will be to find out the needs, wants, and priorities of the residents of Cornhill and Stockethill with regards to their mental health and wellbeing.
The roleholder will:
- signpost people to appropriate support and activities that are currently available;
- Inform us and our partner organisation about new activities and events that would genuinely meet the needs of local residents;
- Strengthen the quality of the already established partnership of Cornhill and Cairncry Community Centre Associations;
- Evidence the need for new projects in future funding bids, which strengthens the quality of our applications and therefore the likelihood of our success.
