The NHS provides the most amazing services and care for neonates and their families, however The Archie Foundation provides the extras above and beyond core NHS provision, including our vital counselling service, offering additional emotional and psychological support for parents and staff at the Unit. Our application seeks funding for this mental health and wellbeing support service within the unit and in the community. Our Archie Neonatal Counsellor is available FREE of charge anytime, and anywhere, whether it's at baby's cotside, a quiet corner of the neonatal unit or even at home, giving new parents the support needed to process what is a very challenging and often distressing entry into parenthood.
