Neurodiverse and LGBTQ+ Youth Support Group Programme

About the project

This grant would enable us to establish and deliver two age-specific support groups for neurodiverse LGBTQ+ individuals in partnership with Four Pillars. One group will be for individuals 16-18, and the other group will be specific for 18+ individuals. Each group will meet monthly in a structured, participant-led environment designed to create a sense of community, safety, and support. To further develop social inclusion and resilience, each group will participate in quarterly outings, such as bowling or rock climbing, which provide opportunities for social engagement in an external setting with all necessary support in place. At the end of the year, we will host a celebration to honour participants’ progress and provide meaningful closure to the year, helping establish long-term positive impacts.
